When your child needs medical care away from home, finding a place to stay should feel simple. Ronald McDonald House Louisville helps families stay close to the care, comfort, and support they need.
Our team works closely with hospital partners to review referrals, eligibility, and room availability as quickly as possible.
Families may be eligible to stay if:
Submitting a request does not guarantee placement. You may request a room up to 14 days prior to you requested arrival date.
To process your request, we must receive a referral from a doctor, nurse, or social worker.
After we receive your request and verify information with your hospital referral source, our team will contact you with next steps and instructions to complete your online check-in forms. Completing check-in forms does not guarantee room availability or confirm your stay.
On your scheduled check-in day, please call our front desk at 502.581.1416 by 10 am ET to confirm room availability. If a room is unavailable at that time, our team may ask you to call again after 1 pm ET for updated availability.
Note: To ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests and staff, guests 18 years of age or older are required to sign in via our Lobby Guard system by scanning their ID or entering their name and date of birth. The Lobby Guard system will run a public sex offender check on all visitors. Individuals who appear on the national sex offender registry will be denied entrance to our House.
