When a child is in the hospital, families do everything they can to stay by their side. Our programs are designed to remove barriers, offer comfort, and make it possible for families to be there when it matters most.
Our Ronald McDonald House provides families with a place to stay just minutes from their child’s care. With 56 private guest rooms, families can remain close without the added stress of travel or lodging costs.
Here, families find more than a room. They find a place to rest after long days, share a warm meal, and take a moment to breathe—surrounded by others who understand what they’re going through.
Fully equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, and shared spaces help create a sense of normalcy, even during the most uncertain times.
Located inside Norton Children’s Hospital, Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and UofL Health – Frazier Rehabilitation Institute, our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms offer a quiet space just steps from a child’s bedside.
Families can take a break, recharge, or simply sit in a space that feels a little more like home, staying close to their child’s care. Comfortable seating, snacks, and private areas provide space to pause and reset during long days at the hospital.
Our Hospitality Cart brings comfort directly to children and families throughout Novak Center for Children’s Health.
Stocked with snacks, beverages, and small activities, the cart offers a simple but meaningful break in the day, provided by caring volunteers.
The cart is available in the lobby on the second and fourth Tuesday from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm.
